If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you are the life and light I need. I admit that I have sinned and walked in darkness, and I cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. Be my Lord, fill me with your life, and lead me into your light. Amen.

Receive the Life and Light

Lord, revive your Church with the life that is in Christ. Where we have grown dull, make us alive; where we have settled for shadows, shine your light again; where we have hidden our faith, send us out to people with compassion and truth. Awaken us to reflect your life in a dark world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your Church with Life and Light

Father, thank you that life is found in your Son and that his life brings light to people. Teach me to receive that gift with gratitude and to walk in that light today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name one area of your life that feels empty, confused, or dark. Ask God to let the life of Christ shine there, then ask for one faithful next step you can take today.

Pray Over One Dark Place

Pray for: a person who feels stuck in darkness; courage to bring kindness, truth, and hope to them; and the grace to point them toward the life that is in Christ.

Light for Someone Else

Bring these to God: places where you depend on your own strength instead of Christ's life; a desire for his light to expose and heal what is hidden; and a willingness to let his life shape your words, habits, and relationships.
