If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and give you my life. You are Lord, and I want to follow you. Make me yours and teach me to honor the Father through you. Amen.

Receive the Glorified Son

Lord, awaken your Church to see your glory in Jesus. Where we have sought our own name, turn us back to your Son; where we have spoken carelessly, make us speak with reverence; where we have delayed obedience, make us ready now. Let your people live so that the Father is honored in the Son, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Honor Christ

Father, thank you that in Jesus you have shown your glory and made your heart known. Thank you that his life and words point us to you. Help me to respond with gratitude and worship, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Revealing the Father

Name one area where you want your life to bring honor to God through Jesus. Ask him to show you one clear step, and ask for the humility to take it today.

Pray for a God-Honoring Response

Bring these to God: any habit of treating Jesus lightly; any desire to be seen; any reluctance to obey; a renewed hunger to glorify God by honoring the Son.

Grow in Reverence for Christ

Pray for someone in a painful transition: that they would not miss God's presence in the change, that they would see Jesus clearly, and that their present moment would become a place where God is honored.

Glory in the Middle of a Hard Turn
