Avoid explaining until every question is solved

Keep only using symbols, even when people are confused

Keep listening with trust, since fuller clarity is coming

Assume no more understanding will ever come

Fill in the blanks with your own ideas and call it truth

Stop paying attention because the wait feels too long

Father, thank you that Jesus does not leave us in confusion forever. Thank you that he speaks in ways we can understand and that he brings us into a clearer knowledge of you. Help me receive his words with gratitude, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name one area where you feel confused about God. Ask Jesus to make the Father clearer in his time, and ask for the patience to keep listening instead of filling the gaps yourself.

Pray for Clarity

Bring these to God: your unfinished questions, any habit of pretending certainty, and your desire to know the Father more truly. Ask for a listening heart that waits for Jesus to make things plain.

Growing in Trust When Understanding Is Partial

Pray for someone who sees God as distant or confusing, that Jesus would reveal the Father to them with clarity, that their questions would lead them toward faith, and that your words would help rather than hinder, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
