If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I open my life to you. Welcome me into your family and teach me to follow you. Amen.

Receive Me Into Your Family

Lord, revive your church to receive people with the care and honor you show in this verse. Where we have kept distance, make us openhearted. Where we have overlooked the vulnerable, make us attentive and ready to act. Teach us to welcome one another well and to carry responsibility with love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People a Home of Welcome

Thank God for the people who have welcomed you, for homes that have felt safe, and for the grace to care for others in quiet, practical ways.

Thank You for Ordinary Faithfulness

Pray by naming one person God may be placing in your care, ask for a willing heart to receive them well, and ask for one practical step of hospitality today.

Ask Where to Welcome

Father, for anyone who feels alone, unwanted, or put aside, bring a place of peace and people who will receive them with tenderness. Let them know they are seen and not forgotten, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace for the Unwanted

Bring to God any reluctance to open your life, any fear of inconvenience, and any habit of keeping distance. Ask him to make you quick to welcome, faithful to care, and ready to act when love is needed.
