Admit a real need and keep walking faithfully in what God has given you

Assume any need means you should withdraw from the task

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and need your mercy. I believe you died for me and rose again. I trust you as Lord, the One who completed the work I could not complete. Come into my life, forgive me, and lead me from my old life into yours. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Finished the Work

Lord, revive your Church with the same steadfast obedience we see in Jesus. Make us a people who do your will, who speak honestly about weakness, and who carry compassion into the places of suffering. Renew our hunger for your purposes and our love for hurting people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive a Humble, Compassionate Church

Bring these to God: gratitude that Jesus did not turn away from the Father's work, thanks that his obedience reached completion, and worship that his faithful suffering makes hope possible for us.

Thanks for the Finished Work

Pray by naming one place where you feel depleted or stretched thin, ask Jesus for the courage to be honest about it, and ask for one faithful next step you can take today.

Pray Honestly About Your Need

Pray for: people carrying hidden exhaustion; those who are tempted to pretend they are fine; and anyone who needs strength to keep obeying God while waiting for relief.

For the Weary and Thirsty

Lord, teach me to follow you when I feel empty. Give me grace to speak truthfully about my needs, to keep walking in obedience, and to trust your finished work even when I feel dry. Make my weakness a place where your strength is seen, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
