Finish what God has given you, then release the outcome to him

Delay obedience until the work feels easy

Keep adding effort so you never have to rely on God

Stop once the task becomes costly, even if it remains unfinished

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I turn from my sin and trust you alone. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Thank you that your saving work is complete, and I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Receive the Finished Work

Lord, revive your Church to live from the work you have already completed. Wake us from striving, make us faithful to finish what you give us, and teach us to bow low in humble trust. Let your people reflect your finished victory with courage and compassion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Finished Grace

Father, thank you that Jesus completed the work you gave him. Thank you for the mercy, peace, and hope that flow from his finished saving act. Teach me to rest in what he has done and to live grateful, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Completing the Work

Pray by naming one responsibility that has been lingering, asking God for strength to complete it well, and then releasing the result to him once you have done your part.

Pray Through an Unfinished Task

Bring these to God: your tendency to quit early, your fear of not being enough, your desire to persevere with steady obedience, and your need to trust Christ's completed work more than your own performance.

Lord, for anyone who feels weary, ashamed, or burdened by unfinished things, bring deep peace. Remind them that Christ's work is complete, strengthen them to keep going, and help them rest in your care, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
