Joseph is further identified by the prepositional phrase apo Harimathaias {ἀπὸ Ἁριμαθαίας | apò Harimathaías} ‘from Arimathea’ and the participial clause ōn mathētēs tou Iēsou {ὢν μαθητὴς τοῦ Ἰησοῦ | ōn mathētḕs tou Iēsou} ‘being a disciple of Jesus’.
