Lord, revive your Church to trust you fully. Where we rely on ourselves, our performance, or our reputation, turn us back to simple faith in your Son. Make us a people who speak your mercy clearly to a world that fears judgment, and renew our compassion and courage, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, I confess that I often live as if I must defend myself. Forgive my self-reliance and my hesitation to trust your Son; give me a willing heart that rests in him and turns from unbelief, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
