The person God sent speaks the message that comes from God.

The messenger mainly echoes the surrounding crowd.

God gives the Spirit only in a limited amount.

Speak only after you feel completely certain.

Use religious language even when the content is unclear.

Rely mainly on your own instincts and style.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you were sent by God, that you died for my sins and rose again, and that you speak the truth of God. I turn from my sin and trust you with my life. Receive the One God Sent

Lord, revive your Church. Where we have relied on our own ideas, bring us back to your message. Where we have spoken with fear or pride, fill us with your Spirit without measure. Make us faithful, bold, and loving witnesses of your truth, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Give thanks that God does not ration his Spirit, that his supply is generous, and that he equips those he sends to speak his word with truth and strength.
