Knowing about the Son is enough by itself

Refusing the Son leaves a person without life

The warning says the consequence is only temporary

God's anger remains on the one who resists the Son

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and from resisting you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as my Lord, and I trust you for the life I cannot earn. Save me from judgment and bring me into your life. Amen.

Receive the Son

Lord, revive your Church to trust your Son with whole hearts and to obey him gladly. Where we have treated your voice lightly, call us back. Let us live as people who have received life from Christ, and make our witness clear, humble, and full of hope, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to the Son

Father, thank you that life is found in your Son and that your gift is not earned by our strength. Thank you for your mercy toward those who trust him, and for the hope that lasts beyond death. Make us grateful and steady, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Grateful for Lasting Life

Pray by naming one place where you are resisting Christ. Ask God to turn that resistance into trust, and ask for one clear act of obedience you can take today.

Pray About One Area of Resistance

Pray for someone you know who has not yet trusted the Son. Ask God to soften their heart, help them hear the warning with humility, and lead them into the life Christ offers.

For Someone Delaying a Response

Bring to God any habit of ignoring Jesus, doubting his goodness, or holding back from obedience. Ask for repentance that is honest, a heart that listens quickly, and courage to follow him fully.
