Treating worship as a duty to finish, even if you feel detached

Waiting for the perfect place or mood before you can truly worship

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live on my own terms. I turn from my sin and from empty religion. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead me into truth. Make me new and teach me to worship the Father with a sincere heart. Amen.

Come to the Father in Truth

Father, revive your church to be a people who worship you in spirit and truth. Wake us from distraction, strip away performance, and make our gatherings and daily lives honest before you. Renew our love for you so that others may see real worship in us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Worship

Give thanks that the Father is not indifferent but seeks worshipers who come sincerely. Thank him for the welcome he extends to honest hearts, and for the nearness of real worship.

Give Thanks for His Search

Confess any ways you have offered God outward words while your heart was elsewhere. Bring him divided motives, distraction, and habits of performance, and ask for a truthful heart.

Let Go of Pretence

Begin by naming one area where worship has become routine or performative. Then ask God to make it sincere, attentive, and grounded in reality before him.

Pray for a True Heart

Pray for your church, family, and friends to encounter the Father as the One who seeks sincere worshipers. Ask that they would worship with honest hearts, clear minds, and steady love.

Pray for Worshipers Around You

But the hour  is drawing near—and now is here—when authentic worshipers will worship the Father  in spirit and truth, because the Father seeks people like these who worship Him.
