Jonah 4:7:1וַיְמַ֤ןvayemanand he appointed
Jonah 4:7:2הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙haelohimGod Jonah 4:7:3תּוֹלַ֔עַתtolaata worm Jonah 4:7:4בַּעֲל֥וֹתbaalotat the coming up of Jonah 4:7:5הַשַּׁ֖חַרhashakharthe dawn Jonah 4:7:6לַֽמָּחֳרָ֑תlamakharaton the next day Jonah 4:7:7וַתַּ֥ךְvatakhand it struck Jonah 4:7:8אֶת־הַקִּֽיקָי֖וֹןethakikayonthe kikayon plant Jonah 4:7:9וַיִּיבָֽשׁ׃vayivashand it withered
7. Formal Translation
But God {haElohim, Sovereign Orchestrator} appointed a worm at dawn on the next day, and it struck the plant so that it withered.
7. Dynamic Translation
But God {haElohim, Divine Director} assigned a tiny worm at sunrise the following day, and the plant dried up.
