4. Formal Translation From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great River Perath, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun shall be your border. |
4. Dynamic Translation Your territory will extend from the desert and the forests of Lebanon to the great Euphrates River, encompassing the land of the Hittites, and reaching the Mediterranean Sea toward the setting of the sun. |
