Exegesis

The causal conjunction ki {כִּי | kî} introduces the justification milleta acharei YHWH Elohai {מִלֵּאתָ אַחֲרֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי}, where the Piel perfect milleta conveys wholehearted loyalty “you have fully followed” the divine name YHWH Elohai.
