| 10. Formal Translation And the border turned from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed over to the slope of Mount Jearim, which is Kesalon, and went down to Beth Shemesh and crossed over to Timnah. |
| 10. Dynamic Translation The boundary curved west from Baalah to Mount Seir, then followed the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim, known as Kesalon. It descended to Beth Shemesh and continued on to Timnah. |
