19. Formal Translation And it shall be that anyone who goes out from the doors of your house to the outside, his blood will be on his own head, and we are innocent. But anyone who remains with you in the house, his blood will be on our head, if a hand is laid upon him. |
19. Dynamic Translation If anyone steps outside your house, they bring death on themselves, and we will be innocent. But if someone stays with you inside, and a hand is laid upon them, then we will be responsible for their blood. |
