| 33. Formal Translation And the matter was good in the eyes of the sons of Israel, and the sons of Israel blessed God{Elohim, Giver of Peace} and no longer spoke of going up against them in battle to destroy the land where the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad were living. |
| 33. Dynamic Translation The Israelites were pleased with the outcome and they praised God{Elohim, Just Ruler}. They did not consider going to war against them to ruin the region where the Reubenites and Gadites lived. |
