6. Formal Translation
And the angels who refused to guard their own domain but forsook their proper dwelling, He {Theos, Righteous Judge} has confined in everlasting chains beneath gloom, awaiting the judgment of the great day.
6. Dynamic Translation
God {Theos, Supreme Judge} has bound the angels who would not uphold their stations of authority and abandoned their rightful home with unending chains in utter darkness until the great day of judgment.
