Judges 11:37:2אֶל־אָבִ֔יהָelavihato her father Judges 11:37:3יֵעָ֥שֶׂהyeaselet it be done Judges 11:37:4לִּ֖יlifor me or to me Judges 11:37:5הַדָּבָ֣רhadavarthe matter or the thing Judges 11:37:6הַזֶּ֑הhazethis Judges 11:37:7הַרְפֵּ֨הharpeleave alone or let go Judges 11:37:8מִמֶּ֜נִּיmimmenifrom me Judges 11:37:9שְׁנַ֣יִםshenaiimtwo Judges 11:37:10חֳדָשִׁ֗יםkhodashimmonths Judges 11:37:11וְאֵֽלְכָה֙veelkhaand let me go Judges 11:37:12וְיָרַדְתִּ֣יveyaradtiand I will go down Judges 11:37:13עַל־הֶֽהָרִ֔יםalheharimon the mountains Judges 11:37:14וְאֶבְכֶּה֙veevkeand I will weep Judges 11:37:15עַל־בְּתוּלַ֔יalbetulaiover my virginity Judges 11:37:16אָנֹכִ֖יanokhiI Judges 11:37:17ורעיתיvereitiand my companion Judges 11:37:18וְרֵעוֹתָֽי׃vereotaiand my companions
37. Formal Translation
She said to her father, “Let this thing be done for me; grant me two months, and I will go up and down upon the mountains and weep for my virginity, I and my companions.”
37. Dynamic Translation
She said to her father, “Please grant this request; allow me two months so that I may go to the hills and mourn my virginity with my friends.”
