39. Formal Translation
And it came to pass at the end of two months that she returned to her father, and he performed for her the vow which he had vowed. And she had known no man. And it became a statute in Israel.
39. Dynamic Translation
After two months, she returned to her father, and he fulfilled his vow to her, the vow he had made. She had never been with a man. Thus a tradition began in Israel.
