Judges 13:16:1וַיֹּאמֶר֩vayomerand he said
Judges 13:16:2מַלְאַ֨ךְmalakhmessenger of Judges 13:16:3יְהוָ֜הyahwehthe LORD Judges 13:16:4אֶל־מָנ֗וֹחַelmanoakhto Manoah Judges 13:16:5אִם־תַּעְצְרֵ֙נִי֙imtaetsreniif you detain me Judges 13:16:6לֹא־אֹכַ֣לlookhalI will not eat Judges 13:16:7בְּלַחְמֶ֔ךָbelakhmekhaof your bread or food Judges 13:16:8וְאִם־תַּעֲשֶׂ֣הveimtaaseand if you make Judges 13:16:9עֹלָ֔הolaa burnt offering Judges 13:16:10לַיהוָ֖הlayahwehto the LORD Judges 13:16:11תַּעֲלֶ֑נָּהtaalenaoffer it up Judges 13:16:12כִּ֚יkifor Judges 13:16:13לֹא־יָדַ֣עloyadadid not know Judges 13:16:14מָנ֔וֹחַmanoakhManoah Judges 13:16:15כִּֽי־מַלְאַ֥ךְkimalakhthat a messenger of Judges 13:16:16יְהוָ֖הyahwehthe LORD Judges 13:16:17הֽוּא׃huhe was
16. Formal Translation
And the angel of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Messenger} said to Manoah, “Even if you detain me, I will not eat of your bread; but if you prepare a burnt offering, you must offer it to the LORD.” For Manoah did not know that he was the angel of the LORD.
16. Dynamic Translation
The angel of the LORD told Manoah, “If you hold me here, I will not eat your bread, but if you make a burnt offering, present it to the LORD {Yahweh, Worthy Recipient}.” Manoah had not realized that this was the LORD’s angel.
