5. Formal Translation For behold, you will conceive and bear a son, and a razor shall not come upon his head, for the boy will be a Nazirite to God {Elohim, Holy One} from the womb; and he will begin to deliver Israel from the hand of the Philistines. |
5. Dynamic Translation Listen, you will conceive and give birth to a son. No razor shall ever touch his head, because this boy will be set apart as a Nazirite for God {Elohim, Empowering One}. He will begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines. |
