27. Formal Translation
They seized what Micah had made and his priest, and moved against Laish, a people who were quiet and secure. They struck them down with the sword and set the city on fire.
27. Dynamic Translation
They seized everything Micah had made, including his priest, and attacked Laish while its people felt safe. They killed the inhabitants and burned the town with fire.
