| 11. Formal Translation Now they were near Jebus, and the day had declined greatly. Then the servant said to his master, “Please let us go and turn aside to this city of the Jebusite and let us spend the night in it.” |
| 11. Dynamic Translation As they approached Jebus and the day was nearly gone, the servant said to his master, “Come now, let us stop and turn into this Jebusite town and spend the night here.” |
