| 12. Formal Translation And his master said to him, “We will not turn aside into a foreign city, which is not of the sons of Israel; instead, we will proceed on to Gibeah.” |
| 12. Dynamic Translation But his master replied, “No, we will not turn aside into any foreign city, since they are not of Israel. We will pass on to Gibeah.” |
