Judges 19:5:1וַֽיְהִי֙vayehiand it happened
Judges 19:5:2בַּיּ֣וֹםbayomon the day Judges 19:5:3הָרְבִיעִ֔יhareviithe fourth Judges 19:5:4וַיַּשְׁכִּ֥ימוּvayashkimuand they rose early Judges 19:5:5בַבֹּ֖קֶרbabokerin the morning Judges 19:5:6וַיָּ֣קָםvayakamand he arose Judges 19:5:7לָלֶ֑כֶתlalekhetto go Judges 19:5:8וַיֹּאמֶר֩vayomerand he said Judges 19:5:9אֲבִ֨יavithe father of Judges 19:5:10הַֽנַּעֲרָ֜הhanaarathe young woman Judges 19:5:11אֶל־חֲתָנ֗וֹelkhatanoto his son-in-law Judges 19:5:12סְעָ֧דseadsustain Judges 19:5:13לִבְּךָ֛libbekhayour heart Judges 19:5:14פַּת־לֶ֖חֶםpatlekhema piece of bread Judges 19:5:15וְאַחַ֥רveakharand after Judges 19:5:16תֵּלֵֽכוּ׃telekhuyou may go
5. Formal Translation
And it happened on the fourth day, and they got up early in the morning, and he rose to depart, and the father of the young woman said to his son-in-law, “Strengthen your heart with a piece of bread, and afterward you may go.”
5. Dynamic Translation
On the fourth day, they woke up early, and as he got ready to leave, the young woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Have a morsel of bread to give you strength, and then you can be on your way.”
