11. Formal Translation Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab, the father-in-law of Moses, and he pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh. |
11. Dynamic Translation Heber, one of the Kenites, had broken away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab, who was Moses’ father-in-law. He set up his tent by the large oak in Zaanannim, near Kedesh. |
