11. Formal Translation
Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab, the father-in-law of Moses, and he pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.
11. Dynamic Translation
Heber, one of the Kenites, had broken away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab, who was Moses’ father-in-law. He set up his tent by the large oak in Zaanannim, near Kedesh.
