Formal Translation She sent and called for Barak, son of Abinoam, from Kedesh of Naphtali, and she said to him, “Has not the LORD God of Israel {Yahweh Elohei-Yisrael, Divine Commander} commanded: ‘Go and muster at Mount Tabor, and take with you ten thousand men from the sons of Naphtali and the sons of Zebulun?’” |
6. Dynamic Translation Deborah sent for Barak, the son of Abinoam, from Kedesh in Naphtali, and told him, “The LORD God of Israel {Yahweh Elohei-Yisrael, Battle Commander} orders you: ‘Go up to Mount Tabor and take with you ten thousand men from Naphtali and Zebulun.’” |
