15. Formal Translation
And he said to Him, “Please, Lord {Adonai, Supreme Commander}, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my father’s house.”
15. Dynamic Translation
Gideon replied to Him, “Excuse me, Lord {Adonai, Sovereign Ruler}, but how could I possibly rescue Israel? My clan is the least important in the tribe of Manasseh, and I am the youngest in my whole family.”
