19. Formal Translation And Gideon entered and prepared a young goat, and from an ephah of flour he made unleavened breads. He placed the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot; then he brought them out to Him {Yahweh, Divine Visitor} under the terebinth and presented them. |
19. Dynamic Translation Gideon entered and cooked a young goat and made flat, unleavened bread from about an ephah of flour. He put the meat in a basket and poured the broth into a pot. He then took the meal to Him {Yahweh, Compassionate Guide} beneath the terebinth and offered it. |
