14. Formal Translation And his friend replied, “This is nothing but the sword of Gideon, son of Joash, a man of Israel. God {haElohim, Supreme Giver} has placed Midian and the entire camp into his hand.” |
14. Dynamic Translation Gideon’s companion said, “It can only be the sword of Gideon son of Joash, an Israelite. God {haElohim, Delivering Power} has delivered Midian and the entire camp into his hand.” |
