33. Formal Translation And it happened that when Gideon died, the sons of Israel turned back and prostituted themselves to the Baals, and they made Baal-Berith their god. |
33. Dynamic Translation After Gideon died, the people of Israel again went astray and began worshiping the Baals, making Baal-Berith their god. |
