25. Formal Translation And the citizens of Shechem set ambushers for him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all who would pass by them on the way, and it was reported to Abimelech. |
25. Dynamic Translation The people of Shechem placed men in ambush on the hilltops, and they robbed everyone who traveled along the road, and word of it reached Abimelech. |
