Lamentations 2:6:1וַיַּחְמֹ֤סvayakhmosand he treated violently or he destroyed
Lamentations 2:6:2כַּגַּן֙kaganlike a garden Lamentations 2:6:3שֻׂכּ֔וֹsukohis booth or his shelter Lamentations 2:6:4שִׁחֵ֖תshikhethe ruined or he destroyed Lamentations 2:6:5מוֹעֲד֑וֹmoadohis appointed place or his appointed time Lamentations 2:6:6שִׁכַּ֨חshikakhhe caused to forget or he made forget Lamentations 2:6:7יְהוָ֤הyahwehthe LORD Lamentations 2:6:8בְּצִיּוֹן֙betsiyonin Zion Lamentations 2:6:9מוֹעֵ֣דmoedappointed time or appointed meeting Lamentations 2:6:10וְשַׁבָּ֔תveshabatand Sabbath Lamentations 2:6:11וַיִּנְאַ֥ץvayinetsand he spurned or and he rejected Lamentations 2:6:12בְּזַֽעַם־אַפּ֖וֹbezaamapoin the rage of his anger Lamentations 2:6:13מֶ֥לֶךְmelekhking Lamentations 2:6:14וְכֹהֵֽן׃סvekhohenand priest
6. Formal Translation
He laid waste His booth like a garden shelter; He wrecked His appointed meeting place. The LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} caused festival and Sabbath to be forgotten in Zion, and He rejected both king and priest in the indignation of His anger.
6. Dynamic Translation
He pulled down His dwelling as easily as a hut in a garden; He crushed His gathering place. The LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Enforcer} caused Zion to lose remembrance of her appointed festivals and Sabbaths, and in fierce indignation He spurned both king and priest.
