32. Formal Translation And any object on which one of them falls when it dies will be unclean—whether it is any wooden vessel, garment, skin, or sackcloth. Any vessel used for work with them must be immersed in water, and it will remain unclean until the evening; then it will be clean. |
32. Dynamic Translation Anything that one of these creatures falls on when it dies becomes unclean—whether it is a wooden container, garment, leather, or sackcloth. Every vessel used for work with them must be placed in water; it remains unclean until evening, but afterward it is clean. |
