| 2. Formal Translation And to the sons of Israel you shall say: Any man, any man from the sons of Israel and any sojourner in Israel who gives any of his offspring to Molech shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones. |
| 2. Dynamic Translation Say to the Israelites: Anyone—whether an Israelite or a foreigner residing in Israel—who offers any of his offspring to Molech must be put to death by stoning. |
