27. Formal Translation
When an ox, a lamb, or a goat is born, it must remain under its mother for seven days; but from the eighth day onward, it will be accepted as a fire offering to the LORD {Yahweh, Recipient of Sacrifice}.
27. Dynamic Translation
If a calf, a lamb, or a goat is born, it should remain with its mother for seven days; from the eighth day on, it may be offered as a fire offering to the LORD {Yahweh, Center of Worship}.
