22. Formal Translation
Upon exiting, he found himself unable to address them, and they inferred that he had witnessed a vision in the temple. He continued signaling to them and remained mute.
22. Dynamic Translation
When he stepped out, he could not speak to them, so they perceived he had seen a vision in the temple. He kept gesturing to them and stayed silent.
