29. Formal Translation But as the crowds were assembling, He {Iesous, Discerning Judge} began to say, “This generation is an evil generation; it seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” |
29. Dynamic Translation While the crowds were coming together, He {Iesous, Prophetic Messenger} began to say, “This generation is bad; it keeps asking for a sign, but it will receive only the sign of Jonah.” |
