And he was longing to be fed from the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table; but even the dogs came and were licking his sores.
21. Dynamic Translation
He yearned to be satisfied with the scraps that kept falling from the rich man’s table. Instead, the dogs would come and repeatedly lick his sores.
