8. Formal Translation
And the master commended the steward of unrighteousness because he acted prudently; for the sons of this age are more prudent than the sons of light when dealing with their own generation.
8. Dynamic Translation
Then the master praised the dishonest manager, not for his injustice but for his shrewdness. For the people of this world display greater practical wisdom in dealing with their own kind than the people of the light.
