14. Formal Translation
I {Iesous, Authoritative Judge} tell you, this one went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.
14. Dynamic Translation
I {Iesous, Heart-Seeing Lord} assure you, this man went home justified, not the other. Everyone who exalts himself will be brought low, but whoever lowers himself will be lifted up.
