And those going ahead rebuked him so that he might be silent, but he cried out much more, “Son of David {huios Dauid, Messianic King}, have mercy {eleeson, plea for compassionate aid} on me!”

And the people leading the way told him to be quiet, but he shouted even louder, “Son of David {huios Dauid, promised deliverer}, show mercy to me!”
