8. Formal Translation
And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord {Kyrie, Gracious Master}, “Behold, Lord, the half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have defrauded anyone by false accusation, I restore it fourfold.”
8. Dynamic Translation
Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord {Kyrie, Compassionate Teacher}! I am giving half of all I own to people in need, and if I have cheated anyone by false accusation, I will pay back four times as much.”
