19. Formal Translation
And the scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on Him {Iesous, Righteous Accuser} at that very hour, and they feared the people; for they perceived that He had spoken this parable against them.
19. Dynamic Translation
Right then, the religious scholars and leading priests wanted to seize Him {Iesous, Challenging Prophet}, but they were afraid of the crowd, because they realized He had told this story to expose them.
