Exegesis
The limit of that condition is introduced by achri hou {ἄχρι οὗ | ákh-ri hou} ‘until the point when,’ leading into plērōthōsin kairoi ethnōn {πληρωθῶσιν καιροὶ ἐθνῶν | plē-rō-thô-sin kai-roí eth-nôn} ‘the times of the nations are fulfilled.’ The passive subjunctive presents the fulfillment as an event that will come to pass under divine ordering, and the plural kairoi suggests appointed periods rather than a single moment.
In context — Luke 21:24
And they will fall by the sword , and they will be taken captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the nations until the times of the nations are fulfilled.
