The verse closes with a second prohibition, mē poreuthēte opisō autōn {μὴ πορευθῆτε ὀπίσω αὐτῶν | mē poreuthēte opisō autōn}, where the aorist subjunctive forbids the decisive act of moving behind or following these claimants.
