29. Formal Translation
All the people who heard, including the tax collectors, declared God {Theos, Righteous Judge} to be just, because they had been baptized with John’s baptism.
29. Dynamic Translation
When the people heard this, even the tax collectors acknowledged that God {Theos, Faithful Justifier} was right, since they had received John’s baptism.
