7. Formal Translation
You set defiled bread on My altar, and you ask, “How have we defiled You?” By saying, “The table of the LORD {Yahweh, Worthy of Honor} is despised.”
7. Dynamic Translation
You place polluted food on My altar, yet you ask, “How have we made You unclean?” You do it when you say, “The LORD’s {Yahweh, Revered One} table is worthless.”
