8. Formal Translation When you bring a blind animal for sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you bring a lame or sick one, is that not evil? Offer it, please, to your governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept you? says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzevaot, Commander of Armies}. |
8. Dynamic Translation If you give a blind animal as a sacrifice, is that not evil? And if you bring one that is lame or sick, is that not evil? Put that before your governor; would he welcome you or show you any favor? says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzevaot, Divine Ruler}. |
